Donald’s Elephant – by Hank Porter

Creation year: 1941

From 1934 to 1944, Good Housekeeping adapted classic Disney cartoons and films into poems and prose. From 1934 to 1941, they were drawn by Tom Wood, then from 1941 to 1944 by Hank Porter. Presented here is an extremely rare complete set of five original production drawings from the hand of Hank Porter for the Good Housekeeping installment of the adapted short “Donald’s Elephant.”

This unique offering features all 5 preliminary pencil concepts for the Good Housekeeping adaptation. This is the first time we have ever seen a complete set like this offered for sale anywhere. As original art and investment pieces it just does not get any better than this!
