Description

“Goofy and Wilbur” by Tom Wood

“What are ya… Goofy?” A truly lovely piece of art featuring Goofy and his grasshopper friend Wilbur. This limited-edition print is based on the original art used in the May 1939 issue of Good Housekeeping magazine on the Disney page. Tom Wood painted scenes from the short upon which this was based, to recreate images that almost perfectly match the short released in 1939. That short was Goofy’s first solo role and is well-remembered by his fans, and considered one of Goofy’s greatest hits! Consisting of five separate panels, four of these spot illustrations feature Goofy and Wilbur in them, while one is Wilbur trapped by a school of hungry fish. Goofy’s “Man o’ War” row boat is in two of the illustrations.

Medium: Fine art giclée print on 230-gram paper
Limited Edition: Strictly limited and individually numbered to an edition of just 100 prints
Size: 40 x 30 cm

Tom Wood’s signature artistry blends nostalgic charm with exquisite technique, making this print an absolute must-have for art lovers and Disney collectors.
