Good Housekeeping 1-pager by Hank Porter: Donald’s Camera

Description

 “Donald’s Camera” by Hank Porter

The perfect picture is just one mishap away! Armed with a new camera and brimming with enthusiasm, Donald Duck ventures into a snowy landscape to try his hand at wildlife photography – but his woodland subjects have other ideas.

A family of rabbits proves rather unwilling to pose, sending Donald tumbling through an increasingly undignified pursuit of the ideal snapshot. His photographic adventure ends with an icy plunge, while the rabbits look on from the safety of the snowy bank.

Soft winter colours, flowing compositions and wonderfully expressive characters bring this charming sequence to life. With its playful arrangement of scenes and a tilted picture panel echoing a photograph, Donald’s Camera offers a delightful celebration of classic Disney humour – and the perils of an overambitious hobby.
