Description
“Beachside Bandits” by Tom Wood
A seaside picnic, a hungry crowd and one very frustrated Pluto!
Tom Wood turns a day at the beach into a delightful scene of culinary chaos. Tethered to a patched parasol, Pluto can only protest as an opportunistic gathering helps itself to the picnic. A seagull escapes with a sandwich, a turtle investigates an open tin, and a crab joins the feast while birds rummage through the basket.
Soft pastel colours and expressive line work give the illustration a nostalgic warmth, while the lively composition rewards a closer look. Each little visitor has its own role in the mischief, with Pluto’s outraged expression providing the perfect centrepiece.
Based on Wood’s artwork for Beach Picnic, this charming print celebrates the visual humour and characterful storytelling of classic Disney illustration. A delightful choice for Pluto fans, Disney art collectors and anyone whose seaside lunch has ever attracted a few uninvited guests.
