We have just added one of these ever popular and always sought-after Carl Barks lithographs to our Carl Barks section.
Gary Pilla’s original and hand-coloured prototype of our upcoming Donald Duck bust has arrived. The bust, which is based on Carl Barks’ original design and completed by Patrick Block, is now proudly on display until it will continue its trip to the bronze foundry in the near future.
We expect to be able to release the Donald resin in resin by November and the bronze is expected to be ready in 2023. The resin bust will stand 30 cm tall, in full colour and be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by both Gary Pilla and Patrick Block. In addition, a few limited lithographic surprises will also be included with each individual figure. The production run will consist of just 100 individually numbered bust, and the sales price is expected to be €470/ea.
