Good Housekeeping 1-pager by Hank Porter: Timber

Description

 “Timber” by Hank Porter

All Donald Duck wants is a peaceful night’s sleep – but his woodland neighbour has other plans! Beneath a crescent moon, a loudly snoring raccoon turns Donald’s quiet campsite into the setting for a wonderfully ill-judged solution.

Determined to silence the disturbance, Donald reaches for his axe. Unfortunately, bringing down the raccoon’s tree also means flattening his own tent! With his campsite in ruins, our weary lumberjack finds an unexpected alternative: a cosy sleeping place inside the fallen trunk.

Deep forest greens, dusky blues and warm timber tones lend this charming print a rich, atmospheric quality. Its flowing sequence of scenes captures Donald’s journey from frustration to resignation, combining classic Disney slapstick with the unexpected comforts of a night in the woods.
