Or – straight from heaven up above, here is a baby for you to love.” Dumbo is innocently showing off his giant, flexible ears that allow him to fly through the air in this hand-painted color model cel. The blue-eyed baby elephant is an adorable sight to behold as he is bursting with that child like purity that makes him so endearing to watch. This hand-inked color model cel from 1955 was used for the anthology television series Walt Disney’s Disneyland Season Two episode simply titled “Dumbo”, which featured a condensed version of the film; this series lives on today as The Magical World of Disney.
