This beautiful Donald Duck study was created during the development of a page-long comic for the April 1940 issue of Good Housekeeping. The page depicted a short scene from the short Billposters, in which Donald and Goofy try to post ads for tomato soup but keep getting thwarted by both a pesky windmill and a curious (and hungry) goat. The cartoon was released on May 17, 1940.
